The much anticipated ‘cyclone swell’, more often than not the waves are messy and water movement too great to really live up to the surfers imaginings of a perfect storm. The spectacle of a cylcone swell, however, is amazing, this day the waves out the front of the usually ‘quaint’ Dunes Beach, became a powerful force of movement, and the sight of the huge breakers at the front was nothing short of impressive and awe inspiring.
